Use GIFs to Create Animated Backgrounds in Instagram Stories

Step 1 Choose your desired image to be published in your Instagram story.

Step 2 At the top right of the page, click on the GIF icon.

Step 3 Then you will enter the gifs page and as shown below, click on the GIF option.

Step 4 Now, on the top of the page, search for your desired gif by writing a word from the topic and choose your desired gif from among the search results; For example: I searched for the word "diamond" and all the gifs related to diamond were displayed on the page and I chose the one I liked.

Step 5 Enlarge the GIF to the size of your phone screen. Do not worry about the reduced quality display because it does not matter.

Step 6 So after you enlarge the GIF to the size of the screen, click on the three dots icon at the top right of the screen.

Step 7 Then select Save to save the desired page. This animation will be saved in your phone gallery.

Step 8 When the desired gif is saved in the gallery, select it, click on the three dots icon and select the draw option.

Step 9 Choose one of the colors at the bottom of the image.

Step 10 After choosing a color, hold your finger on the screen until the entire screen turns into this color.

Step 11 Then select the eraser, that is located on the upper right.

Step 12 Delete the parts of the background you want by dragging your finger on those parts.

Step 13 when ready, click on Done and save your desired gif by clicking on the three dots icon.
